The RSF Senior Center provides senior resource information, educational programs, enrichment classes, and social activities. As a non-profit charitable service organization, there is no membership fee or requirement to live in the community of Rancho Santa Fe to receive assistance or participate in programs.

The Honorable Karna Small Bodman served 6 years in the Reagan White House, first as Deputy Press Secretary, later as Senior Director of the National Security Council – where she was the highest-ranking woman on The White House staff.  She will share some of her experiences serving the President and show how she has included them in her award-winning international thrillers, and her newest book Trust But Verify.

Lift and Strength:
Why you are losing your strength and
what you can do today

Nicholas Raulino, DPT is a Doctor of Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy. He has helped people who are 50+ become more active and mobile, avoid risky surgery, and create happier and healthier lives.

The goal of this talk will be to discuss the common causes of why we get weaker as we age and what you can do about it. Ever watch a young baby play or pick up something off the ground? It’s a thing of beauty! As we age, we must retain our mobility and flexibility but, most of all, we need to learn how to lift correctly and to do it OFTEN. In order to keep your strength, you must perform the correct strength movements as part of your daily routine.

Still Life Painting Class

Create original artwork from life using your favorite medium…

Dawn Harrison, fine artist, will inspire your personal expression while demonstrating and teaching you modern and old master still life painting techniques. Meet new artist friends and have fun painting lovely objects, fabrics, fresh flowers, fruit, and foliage. A new live Still Life will be displayed each week. All skill levels are welcome.

Acting Class
Instructor Monty Silverstone, accomplished actor and father of Hollywood actress Alicia Silverstone, will conduct six weekly classes teaching students about monologues, scene study, and cold reading from scripts.
